From 25 to 28 September the WILD Group will meet with opinion leaders of international medical technology groups in Ireland.

Ireland is Europe’s major hotspot for medical technology and a globally recognized competence centre and preferred location for the industry’s global players. Eighteen out of twenty-five of the world’s largest medical technology companies have branches there. More than 29,000 people are working in the medtech industry on the Emerald Isle. “Very impressive indeed!”, admits WILD Business Developer Wolfgang Stiegmaier, who will be representing the WILD Group at the “Supplier Days Medtech 2017” in Galway for the first time from 25 to 28 September. Only a selected group of Austrian technology suppliers will be given the opportunity to meet with renowned medical technology Groups.

These B2B meetings are organised by the Austrian Foreign Trade Centre in Dublin in cooperation with the Human.technology Styria cluster. “At the moment the Irish medical technology market is uncharted territory for us. But this is about to change very soon”, says Stiegmaier, who sees positive prospects for WILD and Photonic to supply the Irish medtech industry.

For Stiegmaier a decisive competitive edge is the WILD Group’s high service and technology competence, which he will also be presenting on the basis of the Service and Technology Roadmaps at the “Medical Technology Ireland Expo [&] Conference” in Galway on 27 and 28 September.
