The business magazine trend, the independent market research institute Statista and the career platform kununu have chosen Austria’s 300 best employers. WILD ranked 156^th.

Which companies are the most-attractive employers in Austria? Which ones are clearly recommended by their employees? These are the questions that were asked during a ranking carried out by business magazine trend together with market research institute Statista and career platform kununu. A total of 70,000 assessments from various channels were taken into account. The questionnaires were addressed to 7,600 employees of an online access panel and 100,000 XING members, and the kununu community was also invited to take part in the survey. The willingness of employees to recommend their own company had the greatest impact on the overall assessment.

WILD employees highly recommended their company which helped the systems partner reach number 156 in the rankings. According to WILD’s Human Resources Manager Andrea Gritsch, this result matches the outcome of the latest internal employee survey. “It showed that our employees have a very close connection to the company”, Gritsch explains. There are various reasons for this: “The employees are aware of their individual targets and feel that their current position suits their personal and professional skills. They consider their tasks and responsibilities to be well defined. Moreover, WILD scores well when it comes to cooperation, quality and productivity, as well as the assessment of direct superiors”, says Gritsch.

These results, however, are no coincidence. They are the product of numerous measures implemented in staff management. For instance, WILD has developed a leadership programme that deals with topics such as communication, feedback as a leadership task or criticism talks. “We saw significant quality improvements in this particular aspect in our last employee survey. It is important for employees to feel that they have their direct superiors’ support even when something goes wrong”, Gritsch stresses.
