The highest precision in mechanical manufacturing

At WILD, precision tolerances of a thousandth of a millimetre in mechanical manufacturing are routine. Stable processes guarantee high repetitive accuracy and regulatory certainty.

Optical frames, components for prosthetics or special tools in the semiconductor technology – the demand for high-precision mechanical parts manufactured with a repeating accuracy of thousandths of a millimetre is on the rise. The trend toward miniaturisation requires ever-shrinking components (CNC lathing and milling) which WILD manufactures with tolerances of +/- 0.005 mm.

The contract developer and manufacturer can apply this level of precision 1:1 to alignment turning thanks to a state-of-the-art high-performance lathe. Using optical measurement tools in the lathe, the machine adjusts the mechanical axis of a rotating mount to the optical axis of the lens.

GMP-compliant processes

Another of WILD’s strengths is the closed, GMP-compliant cleanliness process, in which products are properly maintained throughout the entire manufacturing and assembly process to guarantee the highest level of cleanliness. In all other areas, too – from programming to milling, lathing, grinding, galvanising or painting – stable production and quality assurance processes guarantee top quality and regulatory certainty.

WILD is a development and production partner

Specially trained staff meet the required tolerances using state-of-the-art CNC machines and an air-conditioned measurement room equipped with two automated 3D measuring machines. They also draw on years of experience in tool and components manufacturing. Another factor is of essence:  at WILD, developers and manufacturing experts work hand in hand from the very beginning. This combination allows for the development of actually manufacturable products without multiple adjustment and redesign loops, which is of major importance for time to market and the costs of these products.

Prototype construction

In addition, WILD covers all areas of expertise that ensure quick implementation in prototype construction – from software to thermoforming or injection moulding
