WILD might have celebrated its 50th anniversary virtually, but there was still a party atmosphere. We want to say THANK YOU for your kind wishes and the exciting conversations!

It is no secret that the current pandemic has fundamentally changed our meeting culture. Online meetings and video chats are the order of the day and have become routine in times that require us to reduce interpersonal contact to a minimum. At WILD, however, many of the gatherings in these “virtual meeting rooms” have looked quite different over the past few days. The participants joined in with coffee and cake, chatting in a very relaxed atmosphere and telling each other anecdotes from the past – some of our partners even lit a birthday candle! This was because 2 December marked WILD’s 50th year of existence, something we celebrated together with longstanding customers and companions during our virtual anniversary talks. 

As a small surprise gift, WILD served an original Sacher cake, which had been delivered in advance to each guest by mail. And it wasn’t the only thing that provided a welcome distraction from everyday work routine. These anniversary talks were an excellent opportunity to relive the history of our company. After all, WILD maintains longstanding relationships with many of its customers. Some of them have been working together with WILD for more than 20 years. Although everyone tried to keep daily business out of the celebrations, the conversations naturally steered toward current topics and potential future projects as well. “At the centre of all these conversations, however, was always a palpable sense of mutual appreciation.
