International B2B networking

WILD and Photonic were represented at this year’s MT-CONNECT in Nuremberg where they used to opportunity to network with manufacturers, researchers and developers from 25 countries.

“The mood at the MT-CONNECT medical technology fair was excellent! Everything from the general order of events to the presentation of our booth and the B2B meetings went very smoothly”. This was the common impression that WILD Business Developers Alexandra Horvath and Wolfgang Stiegmaier took from the fair. “This was also confirmed by other exhibitors we talked to”. Around 1,900 visitors came to see the latest MedTech highlights from a total of 189 exhibitors. As one of 16 Austrian companies at the event, the WILD Group presented its portfolio as a systems partner to renowned manufacturers in medical technology and also gave an insight into its Service and Technology Roadmaps. “The joint appearance with Photonic has proven useful at such events as we can really support each other in approaching customers and initiating contacts”, said Stiegmaier. Among others, Annette Stampfer and her colleague Yulia Fomina at Photonic presented the F5100 LED light source, a new fibre-coupled light source for microscopy that can be used in all customary lighting applications. The absolute highlight at the fair, though, was the F6000 module for endoscopy systems, whose brightness is comparable to a 300W xenon light source. “We counted 40 to 50 visitors per day at our booth”, Yulia Formina and Alexandra Horvath exclaimed.

They both had positive things to say about the partnering platform which brought together exhibitors, visitors and congress in 977 individual meetings. “The quality of the advertised company profiles was extremely good and allowed us to select the right partners for the meetings. We had a total of 20 very specific and successful meetings”, Stiegmaier explained.
