Agile teams, varied projects and a customer mix of established companies and start-ups make the WILD Group an exciting employer.

The enthusiasm with which Wolfgang Warum talks about WILD Group customer projects is infectious. It’s not just the CEO who’s talking here, but first and foremost the developer of technologies that achieve great things. Whether it’s a tracker that uses breath analysis to determine fertile days and help couples fulfill their desire to have children more quickly. Assemblies for blood analysis devices that are indispensable in the fight against the Corona pandemic. Or spectrometers that facilitate plastic sorting during recycling. The list of innovative projects is long. The bandwidth is enormous. That makes WILD highly interesting, especially for developers. “International market leaders and start-ups use the way we approach projects,” reveals the family man, passionate sailor and ski tourer.

At WILD, in-house system architects harness experts in optics, mechanics, software, electronics and 3D printing. In the course of the project, the focus is then on independent work and a high degree of design freedom. The prerequisite for this: flat hierarchies. “If someone gets involved, all doors are open to them,” emphasizes Warum. He himself is exemplary for the careers that are possible at WILD. In 2004, he started as a project and development manager in electronics. At some point, the journey moved toward customer acquisition and technology scouting. Today, as CTO, the Villach native is responsible for more than 450 employees.

“Especially in development, we motivate employees to try out new things from project to project. This is made possible by the large number of customers from a wide range of industries as well as our open structures. They allow very independent work in a project environment that reacts dynamically to requirements,” says Warum. Although structured processes provide the framework, the autonomous teams operate within it in an agile and customer-oriented manner. “In this way, we remain adaptable, flexible and, by thinking outside-in, able to develop and manufacture a variety of meaningful, sophisticated products in the future.”

You know your goals, WILD knows the way to get there.

Varied projects offer varied tasks. It’s as simple as that. There are many arguments in favor of a job at WILD. Employees enjoy learning from each other, and the company is looking for reinforcements at all locations for the many new projects, especially in medical technology. In particular, we are looking for knowledge carriers and high-flyers in the development of products in the areas of Medical & Life Sciences, Laboratory Technology, InVitro Diagnostics, Optical Measurement Technology and Laser Technology.
To all co-creators, innovators and team players – WILD is looking forward to receiving applications at karriere@wild.at.
