WILD proudly looks back on successful trade fair appearances at MT-Connect and Medtec Europe. The dominant themes at the two fairs were networking and cooperation.

For the first time, the most important events in the medical technology industry in the German-speaking countries, MT-Connect in Nuremberg and Medtec Europe in Stuttgart, took place within two weeks. WILD’s participation in this “trade fair marathon” was absolutely worth it. In addition to highly valuable meetings, the company even developed concrete project ideas for new customers.

“MT-Connect, which was held on 11 and12 April, was a rather small-scale event with only around 150 exhibitors. Yet it was the ideal trade fair for distributors in search of contract manufacturers like WILD”, WILD Business Developer Wolfgang Stiegmaier explains. He appreciates the fair’s unique concept, which combines industrial expertise, exhibition and B2B speed dating, during which he was able to meet with manufacturers of highly innovative products.

From 17 to 19 April, WILD exhibited together with Photonic at this year’s Medtec Europe, which fully focused on Smart Health and brought together more than 7,000 decision makers from the medical technology industry. “In our joint booth, we were given the opportunity to present the comprehensive portfolio of the WILD Group and already provided initial solution approaches during the meetings we had there. Visitors to the fair were particularly interested in our extensive cleanroom expertise and our Service and Technology Roadmaps”, says Marketing & Sales Assistant Heidrun Freimuth. The “Full Service and Contract Manufacturing” segment, to which WILD and Photonic belonged, was one that attracted enormous interest among visitors. “Customers approached us directly with specific project ideas”, says Photonic Illumination Systems Sales Manager Annette Stampfer. A contact established at the fair even prompted the light application specialist to consider entering a new market segment: lighting systems for calibration tubes. Follow-up meetings on this topic are already taking place.
