Recently, 23 employees across all WILD locations successfully completed their Green Belt training. This was duly celebrated at the certificate presentation ceremony by CEO Josef Hackl and Human Resources Manager Andrea Gritsch.

Throughout the WILD Group, these employees are constantly searching for optimization potential to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction. And they do this on their own initiative. 23 WILD employees went through a Green Belt training after an internal call for applications and recently completed it with success. They now have the tools to advance lean production even further at the WILD Group, together with the 20 Green Belts and around 40 Yellow Belts who have already completed the trainings in recent years.

The commitment of the trained employees already led to direct cost savings, quality improvements and greater customer satisfaction in several projects during the hands-on training. “In the future, we would like to involve our Green Belt employees even more and use their deep understanding of our processes and products. They will be given more freedom to implement optimizations within agile and self-directing teams, but also more responsibility,” explains Matthias Ghetta, WILD Electronics Head of Operations.

Promoting Lean Thinking

Of course, the results are most rapidly visible in operational processes, especially in the production. But Lean Thinking can result in optimizations in all areas of the company. For this reason, WILD is launching a Black Belt training program in the fall. Graduates of this program will have in-depth knowledge of lean production and lean leadership, which will be extended to all company processes.
