“We have long established structures, processes, and projects that meet the requirements of ISO 14001. Certification was the logical next step to transparently document our commitment and to demonstrate: WILD’s environmental management is group-wide, systematically anchored, and delivers measurable results,” explains Environmental Management Officer Alfred Michalek.

Progress Along the Entire Value Chain

Examples include optimizing production processes to reduce hazardous waste, lowering electricity consumption by 4%, transitioning the vehicle fleet to e-mobility, and introducing new packaging guidelines to reduce plastics and increase the recycling rate. Digital systems such as Energy Monitor and Power BI also support real-time measurement of energy consumption and enable data-driven decision-making.
