WILD has been awarded the Quality Seal for Health Promotion at Work – in short, the BGF Quality Seal – for the fifth consecutive time.

Since the BGF Quality Seal was established 13 years ago, WILD has been the proud recipient of one of the highest national awards for workplace health promotion. “We also received a BGF Oscar for our kick-off project back in 2005. Today, this quality seal is a fixed part of our corporate culture. It’s not about any exceptional project ideas but about the daily integration of health aspects on a personal level. Healthy employees create a healthy working environment – this is something everybody feels here”, says WILD Human Resources Manager Andrea Gritsch, obviously pleased with this positive development.

WILD stands out with a whole series of health promotion measures: healthy nutrition in the staff canteen, free fruit and fruit juices, joint sports activities, largely organised by the company’s sports club, and regular medical check-ups by the in-house physician ensure that staff remain physically fit. “Staff are aware of the significant impact of these measures thanks to the evaluations carried out in form of before/after measurements which we also organise”, explains Gritsch. Moreover, the company promotes mental and social health with specific programmes and seminars, e.g. on priority topics such as communication, leadership and conflict management. Health promotion aspects are also a fixed component in the quarterly team info meetings and in the biannual employee survey, where they are discussed and subsequently promoted and implemented.

“What makes WILD a leading company in health promotion is the sustainable overall package. Throughout the entire company, people are met with respect and appreciation, politeness and a friendly smile”, adds Gritsch.
