Those who get together at this “contact exchange” come straight to the point: this year’s Medical Devices Meetings in Stuttgart once again demonstrated why they are considered one of the most important matchmaking events in the medical technology sector. “This event had a positive outcome for us”, affirms Wolfgang Stiegmaier of WILD Business Development. The EU Regulation on medical devices was a central issue at these conferences. “It has a massive impact, especially on small enterprises. Many of them may be pushed out of the market in the coming years due to the exceedingly high requirements”, says Stiegmaier.
