“Career spying” at WILD

Doors were recently opened to interested young people and their parents at WILD in Wernberg. As part of the “Career spying” campaign, employees provided information about apprenticeships, career opportunities and much more.

What does the WILD company actually do and how do they manage to manufacture complex devices, which are built here for customers, so quickly and, above all, faultlessly?

Employees of the WILD company recently answered these and many other questions as part of the “Berufsspionage 2022” project of the Vocational and Educational Orientation Carinthia. Young people aged 13 to 14 accompanied by their parents visited the Wernberg site to take a look behind the scenes of the development and technology partner and get important input for their own career orientation.

Particular attention was paid when apprentice Lukas Gössl described the exciting content of the mechatronics apprenticeship at WILD. His apprenticeship takes him through all areas of the company, from the measuring room in incoming goods inspection to his current station in the assembly of a complex blood analysis device. “It’s great to see such great young people interested in mechatronics and our company,” sums up Stephan Payer, division manager of WILD Electronics and contact person for the campaign. We wish the young people all the best for their future careers, which may sooner or later lead them to WILD. We are already looking forward to it!
