As a corporate class sponsor WILD GmbH closely cooperates with the higher secondary school at Völkermarkt, thus establishing early contacts with potential future employees. Students of the 3CK class recently had the opportunity to visit the company and get an early impression of what awaits them in practice.

WILD is a class of its own. So, leading by example, Andrea Gritsch, Head of Human Resources, and WILD CFO Michael Wratschko provided the 15 students of the 3CK class and their teacher Martin Polanc with interesting insights into contemporary personnel management and controlling. The first excursion focused exclusively on cost accounting. This was an opportunity for the students to see that the subjects they are taught in theory are actually used in professional practice. All in all, the school class was very interested in the high-tech firm, and a whole series of topics from the field of business administration were discussed and described in detail during an open Q&A session throughout the morning. The 3CK is already looking forward to a second, “vernal” visit in a few weeks’ time. During their next excursion the students will jointly work on topics related to corporate management and customer relationship management.

“The sponsorship for the higher secondary school Völkermarkt has already been in place for a few years and represents a win-win situation for both sides,” Managing Director Michael Wratschko assures. He is happy to take the time to convey some practical experience to future controllers and business experts.
