Christmas greetings for a good cause

This year, instead of sending a traditional Christmas card to customers and suppliers, WILD is sending its Christmas greetings to children suffering from cancer in the form of a cheque for EUR 4,000.

A Christmas card is a personal gesture. Much more important than this, though, is the hope you can give others. The management board became aware of the idea through the members of the company’s staff. “This is why we have decided on digital Christmas cards instead of traditional paper cards this year. The resulting cost saving of EUR 2,800 will be donated to Kärntner Kinderkrebshilfe”, informs Dr. Josef Hackl, CEO of the WILD Group. “Unfortunately there are people amongst us who have to face tragic blows of fate. Thus we are aware of the hardships of these families and have increased the donation amount to EUR 4,000” says Dr. Michael Wratschka, CFO of the WILD Group.

The aim is to provide help quickly on the spot. Kärntner Kinderkrebshilfe can achieve a lot with donations from companies such as WILD. “With this money we are financing medical aids, therapies or learning aids and can quickly and unbureaucratically assist children suffering from cancer and their parents. Aftercare camps, family holidays, excursions and, last but not least, wonderful Christmas celebrations with their families become a reality”, says a pleased Evelyne Ferra, Director of Kärntner Kinderkrebshilfe.
